Sir Cliff Richard

As many of you may know, yesterday it was announced that the Crown Prosecution Service are to investigate Sir Cliff Richard. Just one more of these high-profile cases since the terrible events with Jimmy Savile. It seems we have an element, as Paul said, in high places who are out to destroy high-profile Christians across the world. I for one believe that Sir Cliff Richard is a very godly and fully committed Christian. As many of you know, he has been one of the biggest givers in the kingdom of God for many years and has supported Tear Fund in many different ways.

When I was a young Christian I wrote to his secretary and asked him to support me in going to Bible college. I received a nice letter back stating that Sir Cliff does not support individuals but organisations.

So I would ask us all in the body of Christ wherever we are in the world to lift our brother in prayer as I do believe he is totally innocent of any crime. But if he had done something allegedly before he became a Christian, in the eyes of God he is still innocent, but I for one cannot accept the allegations of the accuser of the brethren.

As the founder of Grace Missions I would like us all to stand with Sir Cliff and pray that sanity will rule, common sense will prevail and God will vindicate this man of God. Please stand with me as I have asked you with the Ashers Baking Company owing to the baking of a cake. If you have any comments please let us know.

Whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8: 36).

    The Mirror reports:

Sir Cliff Richard has become “consumed” by the sexual assault allegations against him, close pal Gloria Hunniford has claimed.

Revealing the accusations had caused an almost “unbearable” strain on the 75-year-old his friend of nearly 50 years said over the last two years, Gloria said Sir Cliff has become a shadow of his former self and can “think and talk about nothing else”.

Please pray for this dear man of God.
